Bedroom Remodel (start)
Okay. Now that I've got some pictures up, I'll try to explain. This is a very small room. I had the headboard of the bed against the double windows, and while you could walk all the way around it, you only had 2 feet of floor space at the foot and side toward the single window.
The bathroom is off the bedroom to the north, the Keeping Room is to the west. So, sitting the bed as I have it in the first picture, allows access to a wicker eterge` and a cabinet filled with my VHS movies. It also gives you at least 4 feet of turn-around space. Geez, you could actually DANCE if you were inclined.
I now have the room emptied and ready to go to work on it!

FOCAL POINT! Heart, Bunny, Bee Theme...and a collection of wicker baskets...you see when entering from foyer.
I am so proud of my kitchen... my house in general... because I'm doing all, or at least most, of the work myself. Since '... a good house is never done...', this project is not yet completed, yet I've had to put it on hold for other things... namely, my bedroom remodel. At this time I am trying to EMPTY the bedroom so I can go in and do all the repairs and painting in a day or two, then decorate it and get RID of the overflow!!! There are many things NOT going back in.
Doing the kitchen... I made a mess and lived in it... oh, the work! But I made up a web page on the project as far as it is done, and I want you all to see it.

My Kitchen Remodel
My kitchen is a NORTH room and was painted ugly, Ugly, UGLY Beige, Tan, or something... I called it MUD! It was terribly depressing. Look what I done!
Addition: I forgot to mention, I have fabric to make Roman Shades in blue, yellow and green floral on cream. I also have an old ladder I am going to mount over the windows and string wicker patio lights through the rungs. Other wicker baskets may be placed on top for lightweight items to be stored in.
High Rollin' Queen
Okay, it wasn't yesterday, but it was a HOOT...and something I'm very proud of having done.
While living in Nashville, TN, in 1993, I got involved in a radio station LOGO Contest. Here's the story and pictures.
